Redcliffe Chef wins BBC Cook of the Year Award

Jo Ingleby BBC Chef of the Year competition shortlist Redcliffe NurseryJo Ingelby, chef at Redcliffe Nursery School and Children's Centre has won Cook of the Year in the BBC Food and Farming Awards. The award was announced at an awards ceremony on 30th April in the company of great British chefs such as Mary Berry, Jamie Oliver and Paul Hollywood. Jo  is a chef specialising in children under five and their families. She Works at Redcliffe Children’s Centre, and caters with her team for up to 40 children every day. With her team, she has developed the idea of ‘experimental cookery’ for the under-fives, where the children can choose from ingredients and equipment to develop a creation of their own. They are involved in all the cooking skills from this young age, which Jo sees as both a challenge and an adventure into food.  Read more about Jo's amazing achievement on the BBC Radio 4 website, or listen to her interview on the following podcast.
